Sunset Family Pizza in Gold Beach

We ordered the sunset pizza and our friends ordered a small half and half. Theirs came out with toppings out to the edge. We ordered at the same time and our pizza Sat there to be delivered for 15 minutes or more and our friends were almost done by the time we got ours. Our pizza only had toppings in the center. I was not happy, and when we told them they acted like they didn't care.

Good beer, excellent sandwiches. Unusual setup though. You order at the counter and they give you a number placard similar to Carl's Jr. Then some one brings you your dinner. Drinks you have to go get and there is no wait staff. Still though, food was great and service prompt.

Best pizza in town. They also have sandwiches , chicken and pasta items. Arcade is the back if you physically go there or you can order delivery until 8pm. Staff is great food taste great and by far the best ranch I have ever had !

Great little restaurant! Wasn’t the BEST pizza I’ve ever had, but it was good. They also have a large selection of other food items if pizza isn’t your thing.

Travelling the Oregon Coast, stopped in Gold Beach for the night and needed food! Sunset Pizza! Yum! So while you wait for your order, order a bones IPA Notorious! Aside from the amazing pizza, the IPA will smooth out your trip!

I was not impressed during my visit to Sunset Family Pizza. While it is a quite beautiful building, the staff do not keep the tables clean. All the tables in the area near the games were dirty for the 45+ minutes I was there. There are nice fireplaces inside but they are not turned on so it's frigid inside. It is not ideal to be shivering while trying to eat! When the cheesy bread sticks came to the table, they were ice cold as if they were not fresh and had been sitting. The pizza and bread sticks were mediocre at best and lacked any flavor. Additionally, it is extremely wasteful to have their ranch separated into plastic to-go containers. To top it all off, the staff was not pleasant with one female worker shrugging off the fact one of their games is not working and it's swallowing coins. It was not worth the 80 hour drive there and back.

My neighbor has her son one year birthday and the place was perfect , very helpful in anything that was.needed

Terrible. I would give it 0 stars if I could. Had a hair in my meatball sub. People were coughing all over inside. Employees weren't wearing masks.

Great Pizza on Highway 101! If you make a stop in Gold Beach it's worth the stop. Restraunt is visible from the street and supplies plenty of parking. The establishment is spacious and has a ton of seating. There is an arcade area for the kids as well as sports on TV's for the sport lovers. The restrooms are clean and well stocked. Most of all the pizza was surprisingly good.

Doesn't always deliver and make sure you completely specify which wings you want. I order from here quite a bit and it's about 50/50 chance I get exactly what I truely want. For example, the old fashion sub is a great sandwich which I order often and half the time they forget the cheese, when I do get the cheese my fries are soggy and taste old. When delivered expect 45 minutes regardless if not an hour depending on day you order.

We went here with a party of 20 (called ahead). Pizza was very good. Staff were very friendly and the kids loved playing the games while we waited. Only down side was that the fountain drinks didn't work for a while, but they got them fixed by the end of the meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant for large groups.

Always great service and the food is amazing. Haven had anything that I wasn't pleased with. All quality ingredients put together by people that are passionate about food. You can't go wrong at Sunset!!!

The good news is the food is pretty good and they have gluten free pizza and non dairy cheese. The bad news is they have no heat and cold air comes from the nonworking fireplace. For reasons I can't fathom it is very hard to get "hot" water for a cup of tea

We loved the veggies pizza, lot of veggies unlike other places. Even the taste was different and better than other joints.Ambience is great.

Finest spot to grab some food when in a rush. Their service is quick, rates are convenient, good ambience. I highly recommend this place

My husband and I stayed at the Gold Beach Inn and had a Medium all meat and I had a small Taco pizza. I forgot to order ranch but they brought it anyway! Thank you so much for an amazing dinner!

That was the worst pizza I have ever had. The crust was like a stale cracker. The ranch was watery. A half order of wings was only 4 pieces. Over priced and under delivered. We will not be returning.

Pros: Nice staff, good fries and wings. Cons: pizza wasnt very good at all and the wait was prstty long. Otherwise was a nice visit. Its been a week since I went but forgot to do a review.

Amazing pizza the crust is so good we are from medford and sunset is better than any place we have there we ate at many restraints why in gold beach and was a bit dissapounted until eating here awesome food awesome staff thank you for saving our trip lol

Pizza is good. The food seems to be inconsistent. Have eaten there 3 times and each time it's been different. The people that take the orders are children and are immature and rude but I think it's just there generation I didnt feel singled out. The first night we got take out and when we got home and opened it the wings were black! Totally inedible! The pizza was great thou.

UPDATE: Not sure if recipes have changed, but cheese pizza had no flavor. sauce was luke plain tomato sauce. cheese sticks came out ice cold. no longer a fan

Good pizza thin crust..

I live locally and when I call sunset pizza I reach a busy sign on their phone for a minimum of 30 minutes. This is average timing. This last time it took 30 min to get through and I was immediately answered with "hold please" and was left on hold for 6 minutes. The lady on the phone was very short with me and hung up before I could even say goodbye. The service has and will always be terrible here. There are only few things I'll eat but seeing as gold beach is limited I'm forced to try over and over. Not a place a would recommend, especially if your in a hurry

Pizza is really good. It's a thinner crust with an almost cracker like bottom texture.

This is the BEST place for super fresh pizza and wings! I heard they are veteran owned as well, which is cool. I love their artwork!

Ordered a veggie pizza no cheese. Pizza was good but had to pick cheese that dripped on the pizza. So cant give a good review. There is a reason I said no cheese....

Pizza was okay. Their crust was a little flat, but overall a decent pie. Great hot wings, good onions rings. Big pies too.

The pizza is the best in gold beach and the hot wings are worth the drive. From Rogue River. I love how they treat the kids and their families.

Really good salad and the meatball sandwich was also good. The carbonaira pasta left alot to be desired.

Ordered the margarita. Got: pizza dough with cheese and 10 halves of cherry tomato. No olive oil, no garlic, no fresh basil, not enough tomatoes. Someone in the back must have been stoned! I called but no one seemed to care.
